Randa Newman is an actor and filmmaker based in East Nashville. She was born in Seoul and was adopted at three months old by an Appalachian family in Pikeville, Kentucky. She spent years as a scientist before the film world pulled her in. She loves both sides of storytelling - the magical and the practical - and is drawn to projects that seek the truth. Preferably ones that also make her laugh.
