Randa Newman is an actor and filmmaker based in East Nashville. She was born in Seoul, South Korea and was adopted at three months old by an Appalachian family in Pikeville, Kentucky. She spent years studying biology and genetics before the film pulled her in. She loves both sides of filmmaking - the magical and the practical - and is drawn to stories that seek the truth. Preferably ones that also make her laugh.
